New details outline potential attractions for Universal Studios' Orlando, Hollywood, and Osaka parks.
It was announced late last year that Universal Studios and Nintendo were teaming up to bring guests an immersive theme park experience taking place in the world of Nintendo called Super Nintendo World. Needless to say, the speculation has been pretty strong ever since. There haven't been any announcements as to which Nintendo IP's would be featured, with the exception of Mario adn the gang, but many have been hoping for attractions featuring the likes of 'The Legend of Zelda' or anything…anything at all that has to do with Pokemon. Here's the official trailer from the announcement:
Recently, a new trademark listing has been uncovered that details some of the planned attractions and events for the parks. There are outlines that imply merchandise like shirts, hoodies, and accessories, but what's really exciting is the list of potential rides and shows planned. One listing definitely catches the eye as it reads:
organization, management or arrangement of kart racing
This could mean any number of things. There could be a Mario Kart themed ride, but it could also mean something as simple as a Mario Kart convoy-type parade similar to the one in Islands of Adventure featuring Marvel super heroes on ATV's.
Many of the other listing information ranges from the possibility of actual Nintendo games and devices (maybe theme park exclusives) sold in the park, to an interative arcade featuring classic titles. All this is strictly speculative as no official announcements have been made for Super Nintendo World since last year, but stick with us for more developments on the exciting new project!
