You know who wasn't at the Samsung CES event where they showed some new Avengers: Age of Ultron footage? This guy. Then again, I'm not at CES. I'm in South Florida, where it's currently 55 degrees and everyone has their sweaters on.
Luckily for me, IGN was at CES, and they did attend Samsung's 'Night With Marvel' event, where Marvel Studios showed a featurette exclusive, revealing some new scenes from Age of Ultron.
Here's what IGN said of the footage:
The footage did contain a couple of new scenes, including a shot of what appears to be Ultron bots bursting through the walls of the train in the slow-mo Quicksilver sequence. In another new shot during the villa sequence, Iron Man flies at the camera, leaving tumbling Ultron bots in his wake. A third sequence showed the destruction of a Samsung-owned building.
It's really nothing revealing about the plot, except that there will be a lot of Ultron's bots. IGN went on to also say that it looks like the villain, Ultron, "gets more advanced as the movie goes on." Yea, he's a super advanced AI that Tony Stark creates for global peacekeeping that ends up wanting to destroy everything. Of course it's going to get more advanced.
Hopefully we get a lot more new footage when the second trailer for Age of Ultron airs during the College Football Playoff National Championship.
