New Batman: Arkham Knight trailer shows us the villainous version of The Avengers

Fresh off yesterday's news that Batman: Arkham Knight received a "Mature" rating from the ESRB, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today released a brand new trailer for the highly anticipated title.

The new trailer gives us a fresh look at some of the story's most infamous super-villains and the threat they pose to Gotham. Batman sure seems to have his hands full in this explosive finale, as Scarecrow unites the Rogues Gallery, including Two-Face, The Penguin, the Riddler, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, and the Arkham Knight. It's basically The Avengers of villains.

I guess if you're going to go out — and this is the last installment in the Arkham series — then you've got to go out with a bang.

Batman: Arkham Knight is set to release on June 2, 2015 for PS4, XBox One, and PC.
