Supercell has released a new update for Clash of Clans in an attempt to fix several issues related to the recent implementation of Clan Wars. Earlier this week, Clan Wars made its eagerly awaited debut, finally allowing clans to wage war with other clans. Unfortunately, its launch has been marred with glitches and bugs including Clan Chat lagging or posts not appearing, blank Clan War maps and, in some cases, wait times of up to 60 minutes for finding a match.
Supercell explained the lengthy mathmaking times were "mainly due to server load" and urged users to not cancel matchmaking. Hopefully, the new update fixes this along with the other issues mentioned.
Here's what Supercell says of the newest update: "We will be entertaining maintenance shortly to fix wars that are stuck on the preparation screen. Please provide feedback once we return from maintenance."
***Update: The update has gone through and Clash of Clans is back online.
Let us know in the comments below if you are still experiencing problems with Clan Wars. Currently, I'm unable to attack or scout the enemy clan, so who knows if the update actually fixed anything.
If you still haven't seen them, check out the full Clan Wars Update patch notes from earlier this week here.
