New Cyberpunk 2077 screens, 15 mins gameplay livestream next week

There better be Keanu Reeves in it

Polish developer CD Projekt Red has announced that they will hold a livestream of their newest open-world RPG next week. Fans who just cannot wait any longer will be able to see 15 minutes of gameplay from Cyberpunk 2077. Furthermore, the developer also released a slew of new screenshots which are surely to make our readers drool. Check them out here!

With 8 months left until Cyberpunk 2077 comes out on April 16, 2020 for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Googles Stadia, fans are frothing at the mouth for any piece of media and news about CD Projekt Red’s next major RPG. And the hype isn’t entirely wrong to be honest. The Polish developer has earned itself the reputation of King of RPG with 2015’s landmark game The Witcher 3. Still, after six long years since Cyberpunk 2077 was unveiled, time alone was enough for the sci-fi RPG to build up an unprecedented amount of hype, which not even The Witcher 3 had managed.

Next week we’re going to host a stream during which we’ll unveil a 15-minute edit of what we’ve been showing to journalists and gamers here at gamescom, and then interview devs from the studio for additional information on what you just saw. Expect a lot of insight into the thought process behind creative decisions, information about Pacifica—one of the districts of Night City—and TONS of stuff on playstyles you’ll be able to adopt when you launch Cyberpunk 2077 next year.

Exactly one year ago, we finally got to see a hefty amount of gameplay in a close-to one-hour long gameplay video which was livestreamed. It’s probably due to the extremely positive reception of that livestream which prompted CD Project to once again show a long gameplay video in a livestream next week. The stream will take place on August 30th, 11AM PT and you can watch it on either Twitch or Mixer.
