New Dark Souls: Artorias of the Abyss figure on the way

Collectible manufacturer First4Figures is working on a large figure of Dark Souls’ Knight Artorias.

The news comes to us from the official Dark Souls Twitter, along with early images of the final figure. The figure bears the same slumped posture that made Artorias so unnerving in Dark Souls’ DLC expansion, Artorias of the Abyss. There’s just something about that arm…

The Dark Souls Twitter later confirmed that the figure will be built in 1:4 scale, meaning it may be up to two feet tall. That’s considerably larger than the 10-inch Red Knight Statue included with Dark Souls 3’s collector’s edition, though the 15-inch Lord of Cinder figure in the extravagant prestige edition is more comparable. The Knight Artorias figure does not yet have a release date.

Big figures are nothing new to First4Figures, though this is the company’s first Dark Souls build. They’ve also immortalized characters from Metroid, Mega Man, The Legend of Zelda, Assassin’s Creed and more.
