New DOOM Alpha Test to begin tonight

At the end of October Bethesda launched their first Closed Alpha test for DOOM, now it's time for another Closed Alpha. Between today at 10 PM EST/ 7 PM PST and Sunday, December 6 at 11:59 PM EST/8:59 PM PST select players will be able to access the Closed Alpha.

Who will be able to play in the beta? A select pool of individuals that pre-ordered Wolfenstein: The New Order and signed up for beta access will be able to participate in the event. If you purchased Wolfenstein: The New Order digitally, check your PS4, and Steam library. If you got The New Order on the Xbox One, look out for a code on the Xbox One message center.

Like previous Closed Alpha's this weekends DOOM Closed Alpha will feature the following:

• Map: Heatwave
• Game Mode: 6v6 Team Deathmatch
• Demon: Revenant
• Weapons: Rocket Launcher, Plasma Rifle, Super Shotgun, Repeater, Vortex Rifle, and Static Cannon
• Power Weapons: Gauss Cannon
• Equipment: Frag Grenade, Personal Teleporter
