BioWare revealed a lot of details on the upcoming expansion for Dragon Age: Inquisition, but somewhere mixed in that information they revealed that the game was getting a huge update before the DLC releases in September. Luckily for us, the update won't came at a price – unlike the DLC.
The patch will only be available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, sticking to BioWare's previous statements on leaving consoles from the last generation behind. It will bring two major features to the game, as well as pave the way for the trespasser's DLC.
What are the new features? The Golden Nug and a wardrobe!
The Golden Nug will be made available to you after you have completed the storyline for Inquisition, once the patch releases it will be in the undercroft in Skyhold. Clicking or interacting with the Golder Nug will synchronize all of your collectibles (like potion recipes, tapestries, schematics). Once your collectibles are synchronized, they will be available to you on future play throughs. It seems as though this will only be availble to one character, with mutliple uses.
As for the wardrobe, it will be added to your bedroom in the Skyhold and will bring "a dozen different outfits," ranging from casual, leather, armored and formal.
