Holy crap! HBO just released some new key art for Game of Thrones: Season 5 and… HOLY CRAP!
I haven't read the books in the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series which the HBO show is based off of, so I don't know if this is something that actually happens or if this is merely some artistic license; regardless, the new poster is sure to get fans talking, as it shows Tyron from behind… facing a dragon!
Not to spoil too much, but if I recall, season 4 ended with Daenerys Targaryen locking her precious dragons up in a dark tomb-sort-of-thing. If this poster is any indication, it looks like said dragons have grown up and either: 1) escaped; 2) were let loose by Daenerys which means we could see the dwarf and the Mother of Dragons finally meet face to face. (UPDATE: it was just brought to my attention that there were actually three dragons, and one of them escaped, so it's possible this could be that dragon) Earlier this month writer George R. R. Martin teased that Game of Thrones will deviate from the already established souce material in season 5. So even if you've read the books, it's possible none of will see a meeting between the two coming.
Or it could just be some awesome art created to increase hype for the show's return on April 12.
