Ever since Nintendo first started allowing Club Nintendo members to redeem their Coins for free downloadable titles, we've gotten stellar hits such as Fluidity and The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. I sure as heck was quick to snag those games and add them to my collection. Today, the Big N has released yet another awesome game.
The Nintendo 64 title Mario Party 2 launched today as part of Club Nintendo's free offerings. Though the first Mario Party will always be my favorite game in the series, I definitely hold the sequel very dear to my little gamer heart. I had so much fun with the game, and I enjoyed many lengthy gaming sessions both by myself and with others. Ah, I really love this game.
Art Academy: First Semester is also available as a free download for the 3DS. That's right, this DSiWare game can only be redeemed via your 3DS system. Weird. Or, you can redeem your Coins for a neat game card case that holds 18 3DS or DS games. It's actually pretty nifty.
If I had to recommend one thing worth redeeming your Coins for, it would have to be Mario Party 2. It's an incredible game that's loads of fun playing with others. Heck, it's a lot better than any of the games that followed, and it has some cool features such as two-player duels, awesome board maps, great mini-games, and adorable costumes for your characters. If you haven't played it, you definitely should.
