New giant robot Gundam statue stands complete in Tokyo

The first full-scale Gundam statue, based on the RX-78-2 Gundam, was removed from Tokyo last year, only to be replaced by a bigger statue that can actually transform. This new Gundam is based on the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam from the most recent anime (which is actually set in the original Universal Century timeline) is a 1:1 scale statue.

The Unicorn Gundam is 64.6 feet tall, which is about 5.7 feet taller than is predecessor, the RX-78-2. The Unicorn Gundam statue goes through various modes and transformations, like its Destroy Mode (featuring red lights) and the Unicorn Mode, which has the Gundam's head transforming to featuring a giant horn.

Transition begins at 45 seconds:

At various hours, the statue's Destroy Mode goes green for its 'Awakened' version. On top of that, music and videos from the show can be heard and seen projected onto the walls around it.
