New GTA Online event brings Double GTA$ and RP for a week

While PSN is offering wicked discounts to Rockstar games, including Grand Theft Auto 5, the developers have gone ahead and created a week long event that will give GTA Online tons of money.

Each day during the Friends In High Places Week in GTA Online will bring players the ability to get double GTA$ and RP on specific Contact Missions. The Friends in High Places week starts today with double GTA$ and RP awarded for completing Simeon's Contact Missions. The event will end on February 25th with a grand finale, all Contact Missions will offer double the GTA$ and RP.

Each day your iFruit will be updated, spotlighting a new contact for double GTA$ and RP. Make sure you do the right missions by checking out the daily schedule below.

Friday Feb 19:

• Double GTA$ & RP on all of Simeon's Contact Missions plus Double GTA$ on Simeon's Import/Export requests

Saturday Feb 20:

• Double GTA$ & RP on all of Ron's Contact Missions plus 50% off all Blazers

Sunday Feb 21:

• Double GTA$ & RP on all of Trevor's Contact Missions plus 50% off Jerry Cans

Monday Feb 22:

• Double GTA$ & RP on all of Martin's Contact Missions plus 10% off Stilt Houses

Tuesday Feb 23:

• Double GTA$ & RP on all of Lester's Contact Missions plus 25% off Lester Services

Wednesday Feb 24:

• Double GTA$ & RP on all of Gerald's Contact Missions plus 50% off Micro SMGs and Machine Pistols

Thursday Feb 25:

• Double GTA$ & RP on all Contact Missions in GTA Online

On top of the Friends In High Places Week, ammo and armor will be discounted until February 25th.
