[Watch] New Hitman 2 shows off new Colombian rainforest map

After an acclaimed first season of content, Hitman developer IO Interactive went independent to pursue their dreams of exploring the Hitman IP. With Hitman 2 releasing in just under two months, IO has given us a glimpse at what their new found freedoms have allowed them to do.

At E3 this year, they went in-depth on one of the game’s levels which takes place during a crowded racing event in Miami, Florida. While that looks all well and good, the fun doesn’t stop there. IO Interactive has released an all-new trailer showcasing one of Hitman 2’s other levels which takes place deep in a rainforest in Colombia, specifically a small village called Santa Fortuna.

While it seems like a place with good intentions on the surface, it houses property belonging to a notorious drug cartel. Using a series of intricate caves and ruins, numerous disguises, and various vegetation as cover, Agent 47 will work his way through Santa Fortuna to gain intel on his several targets before eliminating them.

You can check out the all-new Santa Fortuna trailer below which showcases just some of the creative ways you can take down the cartel, including smacking them upside the head with bricks of cocaine in hilarious fashion.

Hitman 2 will release on November 13th, 2018 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
