The newest image from the upcoming Power Rangers reboot shows the five teenageers standing united.
The release of the new Power Rangers movie still won't be upon us until next year, but fortunately, we appear to be getting a pretty steady stream of news, pics, and posters to quench our nostalgic thirst in the meantime. One of the most discussed reveals has been the new Ranger suits; the studio claiming they'd have a more alien feel to them and looking less like the originals than we might've expected.

The latest image released just before the San Diego Comic Con shows the five teenagers recruited by Zordon standing together in their Ranger armor. Their faceplates are shown seemingly not removed, but rather "open". From the look of the helmets, the suits may have more of a fluid functionality. They appear to no longer require the Rangers to remove their helmets, but instead just have them open up when necessary, similar to the helmets from Power Rangers: Ninja Storm.
With any hope, the SDCC 2016 might shed some light on the new incarnation of Rangers, preferably with a teaser trailer, but that all remains to be seen this weekend.
The movie stars Dacre Montgomery, RJ Cyler, Ludi Lin, Becky Gomez, Naomi Scott, with Elizabeth Banks as Rita Repulsa, and Bryan Cranston as Zordon of Eltar.
Power Rangers releases March 24, 2017!
