New iPads expected at Apple’s keynote on Oct. 22

Apple has scheduled a keynote event for Oct. 22.

"We still have a lot to cover," the invitations read. That's it.

The company recently rolled out iOS 7, so some are hoping for a controller reveal for the growing list of games that can support it. But more bets are on a new iPad and retina display iPad Mini.

Other, nonmobile products are also a possibility, such as upgrades to Apple's Retina MacBook Pros and iMacs.
