New James Bond ‘Spectre’ trailer teases us with mystery

Sony has released a new trailer for Spectre, and while the teaser certainly leaves us with questions, it also gives us our first real clue as to what the 24th James Bond film is all about.

"A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE."

SPECTRE (Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion) is a fictional global terrorist organization featured in Ian Fleming’s novels, as well as the films and video games based on those novels. The organization was led by the villain Ernst Stavro Blofeld, although the Sony is definitely keeping his appearance in the film a mystery.

With a theater release slated for November 6, 2015, I'm sure we'll get more details regarding the new film. In the meantime, you can check out a preview behind-the-scenes look at the 24th Bond film here.
