New leaked photos may reveal the Black Racer for ‘The Flash’ season 3

New photos have leaked from the set of CW's The Flash that seem to depict the Black Racer may be the new season three villain.

The season three premiere of CW's The Flash is only a few months away, but the news and reveals keep pouring in. Recently, a bundle of photos from multiple sources have leaked that show a new character on the Vancouver set. This mysterious speedster is seen with Keiynon Lonsdale's Wally West aka Kid Flash. Donning a black suit emblazoned with red lightning, the character looks like a dead ringer for a villain from the comics known as the "Black Racer":

In case you're unfamiliar with the character, the Black Racer is essentially the physical embodiment of Death. An ancient being with unlimited power, the Black Racer requires a host body to assume a corporeal form and often chooses those as powerful as itself. At one point, it took the body of The Flash and was able to wield the power of the Speed Force until it was cast out by Barry Allen. As it turns out, the man behind the mask is 'Vampire Diaries' star, Todd Lasance, which doesn't really confirm this theory, but its likely the reveal will be kept secret until the character makes his debut during season 3.
