New Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain trailer teases the end of an era

The latest trailer of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain has been released via Gamescom 2015. The trailer, which is shown above, is more of a cinematic angle, tying all the loose pieces together and catching people up on the story thus far.

The Phantom Pain will be the last game in the Metal Gear Solid Series directed by Hideo Kojima, and in the trailer you can see subtle hints about the recent feud that Konami and Kojima have been in. For example Snake says "I always worked better on my own anyway." The end of an era has come and players will be getting their hands on it very soon.

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is set to releases worldwide September 1st for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
