New MGSV gameplay takes us on an in-depth tour of Mother Base

Konami has just released a new MGSV gameplay walk-through of mother base, just as promised. The gameplay takes us on an in-depth tour of mother base and shows us how its multiplayer functions work, note that this mode will be completetly separate from MGO, which has just been recently delayed. First off we learn that there will be multiple platforms that specialize in certain departments. For example players will need to build R&D, Combat Unit, and Support platforms if they wish to have a successful mother base. When Snake is on a mission, he has the ability to Fulton soldiers and POWs back to mother base which will be automatically sorted out to fit each individuals abilities accordingly.

The one thing that does stick out during the video, are these recurring signs referencing to P.T., the Silent Hills game that has been cancelled and pulled from PSN. These signs are scattered throughout the whole video which has to make you think, is this Kojimas way of teasing that a future collaboration from himself and Del Toro is sooner than we think? Or is he trying to say that this won't be the last we hear from P.T ? Either way Kojima is infamous for trolling, so it could possibly mean nothing.

Earlier today we also got a new trailer for MGSV which you can watch right here. The trailer teases an 'end of an era' as this will be the last Metal Gear game for the franchise as well the last Metal Gear game Hideo Kojima directs.
