New Mortal Kombat X DLC coming in 2016

NetherRealm didn't officially unveil the new DLC coming to Mortal Kombat X, as many had hoped they would, but the developer of the 2015's best-selling game did confirm that new content will be released in the first half of 2016.

We don't have specific details, but the new content will include new playable characters (hinted at yesterday), new skins, and a new environment which, if a previous Ed Boon teaser is any indication, looks to be "The Pit."

As for the new characters, the Mortal Kombat creator previously suggested we could see Meat as one of the playable characters in Kombat Pack 2. Additionally, he suggested Rain, who is in the game already, could become a playable character.

What characters and DLC would you like to see come to Mortal Kombat X?
