New Nintendo Direct for ARMS Scheduled For Tomorrow, May 17

This morning, seemingly out of nowhere, Nintendo announced a new Nintendo Direct specifically for their new arena fighter ARMS. In typical Nintendo fashion, the announcement came out of left field and has already caused a flurry of discussion as the event is planned tomorrow May 17 at 3pm PT/6pm ET.

The previous Nintendo Direct focused on Splatoon 2 while also teasing a small bit about ARMS, including the reveal of another playable fighter. This time, it seems the Nintendo Direct will focus on ARMS. However, Splatoon 2 will also make an appearance with a new trailer.

There are many more fighters planned, according to developers, and they also hope that ARMS is just the first title of a larger franchise as they have many more ideas in store.

Be sure to check out the Direct yourself on Nintendo's website or Twitch and check GameZone for all the highlights.
