As Broken Lizard nears its new goal of raising $3 million for Super Troopers 2, the comedy squad has added new perks for those of you looking to support the film's production through IndieGoGo.
The first is a new standalone perk which for $500 will have Farva talk to you from the trunk. According to Broken Lizard, you can ask Farva some questions and he'll answer them from inside of the car's trunk with a night vision camera. And Broken Lizard promises his answers will be obnoxious. Did you expect anything less?
To give you a sneak peek at what Farva's been up to in there, Broken Lizard has also released another update.
Broken Lizard has also added more limited perks since some of the "high-end" perks are disappearing faster than the group thought. Here's some of the new ones:
- PERSONALIZED VIDEOS ($600)
- the chance to be a PRODUCER ($12,500) or DIRECTOR ($15,000)
- ANOTHER PATROL CAR ($45,000)
Lastly, a new $1 Challenge perk has been added. If 25,000 people claim this perk, for just $1 each, Broken Lizard promises to xerox their asses and email them to you. A few lucky contributors will also receive signed, printed copies in the mail. It's worth nothing that 25,000 people must grab this perk for it to go through.
That's all for now. As a reminder, Super Troopers 2 has already been funded, but the $2 million only allowed for the most basic version of the film. Broken Lizard says the more money they raise, the better the movie will be. Their latest goal was to reach $3 million and as of this writing they are already over $2.8 million. There's still 29 days left in the IndieGoGo campaign.
