New PlayStation 3 TV spot makes me ask “WTF Japan?”

Japan marches to the beat of their own drum — with everything. So it's no surprise that Sony's TV spots for the new PlayStation 3 in Japan is not at all what you expect. Boasting the 250 GB/500 GB harddrive, being 25% smaller, the ad takes a turn that you won't expect. I'll just stop there and let you watch it. Have fun.

So it looks like it's cross-promotion for the new PS3 and Biohazard 6, which is what Resident Evil 6 is called in Japan. That was quite effective. But I personally found the female Japanese voice at the end of the ad creepier than the cheap attempt at causing me to crap myself. I'm going to go change my pants now.
