New Predator movie working title revealed, set in present-day

Iron Man 3 director, Shane Black, has been very open about his next project, the upcoming Predator movie. He's so open, that we've even discovered the working title for the movie!

According to ComicBook.com, the working title is 'Ollie.' Yep, the upcoming Predator film is called Ollie, but we don't know why. Black has revealed that the movie is set in the present-day.

"Well, it seems to me if we set ours in 2018 which is when the film is set, then we can only be a prequel to that one (Predator 2), so you could say yes it exists, but people won't be discussing it really. It's in the midst of the mythology. It's a movie that's set in our present-day. Or maybe the day after tomorrow."

Black made it clear that the movie will be a 'spectacle' solely based on how much money Fox is willing to throw at the project, that it will begin filming this Fall (with its big budget) and how the Predator's gear will be upgraded – the keeping most of the details to himself, but is letting us in on plenty of the side-notes.
