Fans of Prototype 2 can now download the new Official Sidekick app for iOS and Android.
The mobile app functions as a guide to New York Zero, helping players traverse the different zones, hunt down collectibles, and track game progress.
Players can try the Yellow Zone map for free; the Green and Red Zone maps can be unlocked via the combined map-pack upgrade.
Below is a list of features for both device versions:

- FOCUS YOUR HUNT with the ability to filter by zone and individual collectible type
- TRACK YOUR PROGRESS across all found collectibles and earned achievements/trophies

So far users have reviewed the app as everything from "awesome" to "buggy," so whether you spend the $1.99 for the full download is up to you.
