We haven't heard much about Rain since its reveal at Gamescom last year, but over the weekend we received a batch of screenshots showing off the game's clever concept. What we do know is a boy awakes in a mysterious dark and dreary world to the silhouette of a girl, made only visible by the rain. However, as the trailer showed, you too become invisible and can only see your character (and others) when in the pouring rain. Pretty clever stuff, right?
Well, Sony's Japan Studio has released six screenshots of Rain giving us a better idea of the game's premise. The screenshots are separated into pairs — one wet and one dry — to show off the emotion Sony hopes to elicit through Rain. The accompanying taglines read:
- "Sometimes rain reflects loneliness."
- "Sometimes rain brings melancholy."
- "Sometimes rain soaks through the heart."
