Sombrero: Spaghetti Western Mayhem is a 2-4 player party game whose title describes what every moment in the game is like. You and your friends are thrown into a 2-D arena where the only goal is to shoot and blast your way through all of your opponents and be the last one standing. One of the most intriguing features about the game is that it supports both couch and online co-op, so you are never restricted to playing the game one way or the other.
Here's a description of the game per an official press release:
"Choose from nearly two dozen characters and lunge through a non-stop hailstorm of bullets and TNT. Pull up a couch or head online to blast your friends across four different game modes with a bunch of authentic weaponry…they had exploding rocket-powered fists back then, right?"
Sombrero: Spaghetti Western Mayhem is the debut title for developer PixelMetal, whose staff consists of only one person and will be published by Alliance Digital Media. Sombrero will be releasing on PC and Xbox One and all of the game's post-launch content will be free. There is currently no official release date for the game, but we will let you know as soon as we hear something.
