New RazerGO app brings a feature that Pokemon GO should have had in the first place

Razer is primarily known as a PC Gaming company, producing a number of stellar laptops and accessories as well as some nice free software (Cortex is my BFF). But they have decided to take advantage of the current phenomenon that is Pokemon GO and has developed an app, aptly named RazerGo that will allow players to chat with other nearby Pokemon GO players.

What's cool about the app is that it comes with a range filter that can let players talk to anyone whether they are 3 or 600 miles away. You can make these conversations private or public and it's easy to see why Pokemon GO players might need something like this. Say you find a rare Pokemon in the parking lot of a TGI Friday's on one side of town, you can let everyone in the Public channel know, and have them flock over (which will likely result in some good business for the restaurant as well).

Razer will be launching the app on both iOS and Android sometime in the next few days (allegedly by July 25th pending Apple and Google Play's approval) but there will be a web version that will launch at 10PM EST/7PM PST tonight which you will find here.
