New recap trailer for ‘Resident Evil: Retribution’ catches you up on the other four films

I saw the first Resident Evil movie. I even saw some of Resident Evil: Apocalypse; sorry, I couldn't stomach the whole thing. While I understand that some people enjoy those movies for the action and whatever, I'm just not one of those people. It's just not how I pictured Resident Evil movies being. So while I haven't seen Extinction and Afterlife, I've done my best to keep up with how the storyline has… er… 'progressed.'
The story for Resident Evil: Retribution is:
The Umbrella Corporation's deadly T-virus continues to ravage the Earth, transforming the global population into legions of the flesh eating Undead. The human race's last and honly hope, ALICE (Milla Jovovich), awakens in the heart of Umbrella's most clandestine operations facility and unveils more of her mysterious past as she delves further into the complex. Without a safe haven, Alice continues to hunt those responsible for the outbreak; a chase that takes her from Tokyo to New York, Washington D.C. and Moscow, culminating in a mind-blowing revelation that will force her to rethink everything that she once thought to be true. Aided by newfound allies and familiar friends, Alice must fight to survive long enough to escape a hostile world on the brink of oblivion.
With that, Sony is making it a lot easier to get caught up to Retribution's story with their new recap trailer, that breaks down the previous four films to their most basic plot points.
I have to admit, even after watching the trailer, I'm kind of lost. There's like 10 Weskers and two Alices. People are alive that used to be dead. I've seen in  previous trailers that the once-dead Michelle Rodriguez is alive again, and characters are not who you thought they were.
Since I'm so behind, I'm really on the fence about seeing this movie. What do you think? Will you be seeing Resident Evil: Retribution when it releases on September 14, 2012?
