New rumor for who will play Robin in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Director Zack Snyder's son, a QB committed to UCLA, rumored to play Robin in Batman v Superman

Earlier this month, Warner Bros. debuted a new trailer for the highly anticipated upcoming film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

In the new trailer, we were treated to some new footage that includes Gal Gadot in action as Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg's manipulation as Lex Luthor, and the intense feud of Batman and Superman, played by Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill, respectively. But perhaps the most interesting thing to come out of SDCC was speculation as to what kind of role Robin will have in the film and any possible tie-in Batman v Superman could have with Suicide Squad. And all of it stems from a two second clip in which Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) is seen staring at Robin's outfit tarnished with the Joker's writing: "HAHAH JOKES ON YOU BATMAN".

During said part, you hear Wayne's voice-over, "20 years in Gotham, how many good guys are left? How many stayed that way?"

From that brief clip, sparked countless speculative articles revolving around Robin and his possible involvement in the films. According to the newest rumor from Heroic Hollywood, director Zack Snyder's son Eli Snyder is slated to play Robin in the film.

Snyder, who played the young Leonidas in 300 and young Rorschach in The Watchmen, hasn't yet been publicly confirmed for the part and the site maintains that the "secretive nature surrounding the film" has made it hard to confirm the rumor. So for now, treat it as just that — a rumor.
