Blizzard's Scroll of Ressurection has long been a way for World of Warcraft players to get free game time for reintroducing a friend to the game – today they announced that they were kicking the program into overdrive with these new bonuses (One might even call it OP:
Not only that, but a spectral gryphon or wyvern mount also are rewarded to you for participating. Offering so many paid services just for getting a friend to reactivate, not to mention copies of any expansions that were missing, is quite the bargain. One could argue that Blizzard is feeling the pressure from Bioware's Star Wars the Old Republic, or even the upcoming Guild Wars 2 and Tera. It'll be interesting to see how this goes over, but if Blizzard's recent tweet about their authentication servers going on the fritz soon after this announcement is any indication, I think they'll be just fine.
