Having Sesame Street on HBO is still one of the strangest combos in recent memory, and as we get closer to the premiere date, the stranger it feels.
The latest Sesame Street trailer has all the iconic characters back including Elmo, Cookie Monster and Big Bird. Besides the catchy beat, the trailer, which you can watch above, has two cool cameos, one from Jurassic Park and the other from Star Wars.
Sesame Street did do a similar cameo in the past, but it was focused around Game of Thrones, the hit HBO show. You can check out the Jurassic Park one at 00:18 and the Star Wars one at the very end of the trailer.
The partnership from HBO and Sesame Street will make the next five seasons of the iconic series available on HBO and its multiple channels, HBO GO, HBO On Demand and the new internet only SVOD service HBO NOW.
Sesame Street will make its HBO premiere Saturday, Jan. 16 at 9 a.m. ET with two new episodes.
