New details of Sonic Mania and Sonic's mysterious untitled game will be revealed next month when SEGA attends South by South West 2017.
There have been some glimpses of Sonic Mania already, with a new trailer being released last September, but the game's developer understand many gamers will be purring at the opportunity to see more of the collector's edition, and in March they are set to deliver.
Takashi Iizuka, part of the Sonic team, will be on the 'Gotta Go Fast: The Official Panel of Sonic the Hedgehog' on March 16th, as the panel looks to adress Sonic's resurgence in the world of gaming.
It will contain not only Iizuka, but other presenters of SEGA as well, and they will be responding to a number of questions from fans during the event.
There will be two trailers showcased, according to NeoGaf, but more surprises could follow.
For those that are interested in watching, it starts at 3 PM PT / 5 PM CT / 6 PM ET / 11 PM UK. However, whether or not it will be streamed remains to be seen.
Sonic Mania is set to hit shelves sometime this year and both games will be available across a variety of platforms, including Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC and the new Nintendo Switch console.
On the other hand, there is no timescale for the release of Sonic 2017 – at the moment.
