A new screenshot for Star Wars Battlefront has emerged, showing off the newly confirmed playable vehicle — the AT-ST.
The image was first posted to the Star Wars Battlefront subreddit, but was quickly confirmed as being an official in-game shot by an Electronic Arts community manager.
AT-STs — short for All Terrain Scout Transport — were first confirmed as playable vehicles in Battlefront last week. They were shown briefly in the game's official reveal trailer, alongside a number of other playable vehicles, including AT-ATs, speeder bikes, TIE Fighters, and X-wings.
The AT-ST is designed as more of recon vehicle, light and heavily-armed. We don't get much of a feel for what it's capable of in Star Wars Battlefront from the screenshot, but I'm intrigued to see how it'll be used with all the other vehicles being offered in the game.
Star Wars Battlefront will release on November 17, 2015 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. (November 19 in Europe).
