October 19th will be the day every Star Wars fan has been waiting for. Reports are coming in from Screen Crush that on October 19th a new Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer will drop online. In addition to the exciting news of a new trailer, fans will also be able to pre-order their tickets for the movie.
According to Screen Rush’s sources, this will be the last Force Awakens trailer we get until the movie actually releases. The trailer will debut online first for the whole world to watch before it debuts in theaters on November 6 with Spectre. The last footage we saw of the movie was released way back in August and it seemingly had Kylo Ren and Finn about to face off in an epic lightsaber duel.
You thought a new trailer was enough right? According to multiple AMC managers in the US and Canada, they are already prepping their staff for the huge pre-sale day that will allow fans to purchase their tickets ahead of time. Cinemark accidentally posted yesterday an official graphic to one of the international markets announcing the pre-sale, only to pull the information down soon after — “In the next Monday begins the pre-sale of Star Wars: The Force Awakens at #Cinemark! Run before the Stormtroopers end up with all the tickets.”
Disney and Lucasfilm has yet to make the official announcement, but rest assured more Star Wars is coming very quickly. Either way, be prepared to jump on pre-sale tickets if you wish to watch the first screening of The Force Awakens. Stick with GameZone for further updates on Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in theaters on December 18th.
