New Styx: Shards of Darkness screenshots show off a much improved look

Styx: Master of Shadows was one of the more underrated games when it came out back in 2014, but it sold well enough that developer Cyanide Studio is making a follow-up, and has the financing to license the incredibly powerful Unreal Engine 4. As you can see from the screenshot above (and the one's below), Unreal has had an incredibly positive effect on the game's visuals, resulting in one of the most vibrant renderings I've ever seen a Goblin get.

Here's a look at the three remaining screenshots that were recently released.

Styx: Shards of Darkness is due to release in Q1 2017 on PC, Xbox One, and PS4. For more on the game, you can check out its E3 gameplay trailer as well as some additional screenshots.
