Nintendo is borrowing one of the power-ups from Super Mario 3D Land to help players in New Super Mario Bros. 2.
The white tanooki suit will appear once players die five times in a row in a level, making them invincible.
New Super Mario Bros. 2 also features Giant Mario, who can crush pipes and blocks, and Micro Mario, who can run on water. Both were available in the original New Super Mario Bros.
The 3DS game is set for August 19.
