New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trilogy kicks off this summer

Nickelodeon has confirmed that Activision is making a set of three new games in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles line — starting with the first this summer.

Sherice Torres, the senior vice president of entertainment products at Nickelodeon, said in a statement, "We are confident that these upcoming games will take gamers through interactive environments and action-packed adventures that truly capture the essence, tone, and exciting elements of the Turtles.”

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will "respect the passion" of fans from across generations. This is a property that appeared first in comics in the mid-'80s and later became even more popular in cartoons, film, and video games.

Nickelodeon did not mention an official title or platforms, but this sounds like something that would be a good fit for multiple systems.
