Developer Two Tribes has released a handful of new screens for the upcoming Toki Tori 2. Though there are only five images, each offers a bit of insight on different elements of the game.
For starters, our titular feathered protagonist won't be alone. No, Toki Tori 2 will feature several buddies such as taxi birds, frogs, and even some Toki Tori look-alikes. Additionally, players will be encouraged to explore the world as they see fit, so there will be plenty of secrets to discover.
The screenshots also depict a story sequence, and Two Tribes has revealed that players will be able to interact with these scenes as they are "fully playable." Last, there's a bit of underwater tomfoolery going on in one of the new screens, so expect our bright yellow star to get his feathers wet.
Toki Tori 2 seems to be coming along nicely. Two Tribes is currently planning to release the puzzler sometime this year, and the studio recently explained the reasons behind the delay. Here's hoping we get an update on the release date soon.
