New Tony Hawk game coming to consoles in 2015

Iconic skateboarding legend Tony Hawk has revealed that he's currently working with Activision on a new console game set for release in 2015. A mobile game is also on the way, but I think most are excited for the former.

"I’m currently working with Activision on a console game for 2015 (along with a new mobile game). I think fans of THPS series will be hyped," Hawk said.

The possibility of a new Tony Hawk console game was first tossed around earlier this year when it was announced that Shred Session was a mobile exclusive. Shred Session was supposed to be released on Android and iOS this summer, but according to Hawk, the game "has been put on hold indefinitely."

An Activision representative confirmed the validity of Hawk's tweets, but offered no further details. "We can confirm Tony Hawk's Shred Session is postponed indefinitely, and that new Tony Hawk console and mobile titles are coming in 2015."
