A new Tony Hawk's Pro Skater game has been confirmed to be in development by both Activision and Tony Hawk, himself. Speaking on his Demolition Radio show, Hawk revealed (via IGN), "We're working on a game, we are working on a game, it's pretty cool." A co-host added, "It's a whole suit you have to put on," likely referring to motion capture.
Hawk didn't specifically mention any other details, but Activision, in a follow-up with IGN, confirmed its involvement with the new Tony Hawk project. "Activision can confirm that they have something in the works with Tony Hawk, more info is coming soon."
The last Tony Hawk skateboarding game was Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD, a high-def re-release featuring classic levels from Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2. It was developed by Robomodo, but it's unknown if the studio has any role in this new project.
