New trailer and screenshots for Homefront: The Revolution

Crytek and Deep Silver announced today Homefront: The Revolution, the next entry in the first-person shooter series originally published by THQ. Now we've got a batch of new screenshots and an official trailer to go along with exciting announcement.

The new trailer, while not of gameplay, does show off the overall approach Crytek is taking with the game. You're living in a near future dystopia where the United States, following catastrophic events, is now occupied by the Korean People's Army. While surveillance drones and armored patrols rule with totalitarian force, a small group has risen to wage guerrilla warfare. The trailer below should give you a better idea as to what that entails.

In addition to the trailer, Crytek has published a slew of screenshots which show off the high graphical fidelity of the game coming to Xbox One, PS4, and PC in 2015.
