New trailer for ‘Cloud Atlas’ is great

Cloud Atlas, the new film directed by Lana and Andy Wachowski (The Matrix) and Tom Tykwer (Run Lola Run), is an ambitious movie, to say the least. It features an all-star cast that has each actor taking on multiple roles across numerous locations and time periods. There's already been a phenomenal first trailer that was, like, 45 minutes long — I embellish, it was 5:41 — and now we get our second trailer for the movie. Sitting at a more reasonable length of two-and-a-half minutes, we are treated to some new scenes of this unbelievable epic.

The official synopsis for Cloud Atlas is:

“Cloud Atlas” explores how the actions and consequences of individual lives impact one another throughout the past, the present and the future. Action, mystery and romance weave dramatically through the story as one soul is shaped from a killer into a hero and a single act of kindness ripples across centuries to inspire a revolution in the distant future.

Yes, it is confusing and hard to grasp, but I think the film will be amazing. With these directors and actors, these interlinked characters and stories will hopefully make a movie that memorable for ages. I will definitely be there opening night when it opens on October 26th.
