New trailer introduces Battleborn’s villain Rendain

2K and Gearbox have released a new trailer showcasing the main antagonist from Battleborn. The Lord Commander  Lothar Rendain is extremely dedicated to his evil cause but he actually thinks what he's doing is for a legitimate reason which isn't entirely selfish and for himself.

Commander Rendain has also issued a statement in which he promises to usher in a future that is "brighter, more perfect and more free of unnecessary planets lying about in a state of disrepair". Right there is classic villain humor from 2K as Rendain makes it seems as blowing up a planet for his own well being and eliminating those who rise against him is for a "good cause". I mean after all, what kind of villain has a name plate that says "L. Rendain, Boss" on his desk? According to the Commander, no measure of magic, insane robots or butt theatrics can stop him.

Battleborn is set to release on February 9th, 2016 on Xbox One,PS4 and PC and will feature 25 playable characters in a cooperative hybrid mix of Borderlands teamwork with a new FPS like leveling system.

Just a guy lucky enough to talk about games with you fine people. "Don't ever tell anybody anything, when you do, you start missing everybody".
