Bethesda released Wolfenstein: The New Order last year, followed by a standalone expansion for the game, The Old blood, a year later. Both installments in the series were good, The New Order wasn't anything groundbreaking, but offered a 'solid' addition to the series and The Old Blood followed in the same vein.
Alicja Bachleda-CuruĆ, the voice actress behind Anya Oliwa in The New Order, has revealed that we will be seeing another installment in the series. Speaking on Polish TV the actress revealed that the "second" game would release in 2017.
"I'm working on a video game, first part of which I have already made. Now we're making a second one, which will take two more years.
"I played this game as a child. I was very happy when I got to the point where I could shoot Hitler."
Bethesda has yet to confirm the actress's claims. but The New Order creative director Jens Mathies has been quoted saying that there were plenty of ideas for a sequel and that they would love the opportunity to make it happen. We will probably hear more about this as soon as DOOM and Fallout 4 are out of the way.
