GUILD APPOINTS NEW PRESIDENT
Additional Management Changes Include Guild Founder Tommy Tallarico, as New CEO
and Chairman of the Board of Directors
The Game Audio
Network Guild (G.A.N.G.), a
non-profit organization established to promote excellence in interactive audio,
today announced key changes to the management team and the Board
of Directors. Paul Lipson, who has served as the Guild’s Senior Director for
the past two years, has been elected to serve as President of the Guild.
G.A.N.G. Founder Tommy Tallarico will assume the new post of CEO and Chairman of
the Board of Directors, while Jack Wall will step down as Vice President and
remain as an active member of the Board of Directors.
As President,
Lipson will work to ensure positive growth of the guild through new initiatives,
partnerships, research and professional development activities that serve the
membership and the global game audio community.
“I appreciate the
support of my colleagues and am excited to continue to build on the foundation
that Tommy and our founders have worked tirelessly to create for the game audio
community,” said Lipson. “I look forward to working closely with the Board of
Directors and fellow officers as we continue to grow our membership and expand
our community in the coming year.”

and leadership has been instrumental in the growth and development of the
Guild,” said Tallarico. “He really understands the mission and vision of the
organization, and we are excited to have him on board in this capacity.”
In addition,
Michelle Sorger, who has served as Director of Development since 2005, was
elected to fill the position of Vice President. “I look forward to continuing
to advance our mission by providing every level of our membership with resources
and professional development opportunities,” said Sorger. “Our sponsors and
members have a lot to look forward to as we grow locally, nationally and
globally.”
