As the rest of the gaming world recovers from the launch of Halo: Reach on the Xbox 360, PC gamers will have plenty of opportunity to find an alternative to Starcraft II with the releases of Final Fantasy XIV (Collector’s) and Civilization V. Although the regular edition of Final Fantasy XIV will be released a week after the Collector’s, those who are interested in getting a one-week start ahead of everyone else will be glad to know that the collector’s edition is more than just an early access key. Aside from the game, fans can look forward to a DVD, a security token, travel journal, right of passage and a buddy pass for the upcoming MMO.
