It's been just about two weeks since the last Battlefield 4 update which, by DICE's record with the game, must seem like an eternity. Released back in October, the troubled first-person shooter has struggled with glitches and bugs. To DICE's credit, patches have been fairly frequent for the game, so when can we expect the next one?
According to an update from DICE, the next update is expected to go live for all platforms "at the end of January/beginning of February," though the developer acknowledges that the timing "might" change. The update is said to include a number of stability improvements, tweaks, and fixes, but they haven't gone into specifics.
"We will get back to you with the change notes as the update goes live," the studio said.
DICE also mentioned they are "actively looking" for player feedback on a couple of core gameplay balancing items and will soon share a large number of balancing tweaks, including changes to DMR performance and anti-air, that will be made in future updates. Lastly, they are looking to improve a number of items to "further enhance the overall multiplayer experience," but wills hare more details on this in February.
Some big changes are coming to Battlefield 4 and we'll be sure to keep you up-to-date with all of them.
