Next Forza game will feature Lamborghini as the cover car

Xbox has announced today that the Lamborghini Centenario will be the cover car for the next Forza Motorsport game. The Centenario is a new vehicle that is being released by Lamborghini and is going to be available "first in Forza" according to Xbox. This means that Forza players will be able to use the car before buyers in real life will be able to physically drive it.

Phil Spencer spoke about the addition by saying

“We’re excited to continue our long history of working with Lamborghini and to be part of their 100-year anniversary by celebrating the Centenario as the featured cover car of the next Forza game. It’s an honor to announce our partnership at one of the world’s biggest automotive shows, and we look forward to unveiling the game at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo.”

This is similar to how Forza Motorsport 6 utilized the Ford GT as their cover car and the series continues to excel in the racing genre. We'll have to wait until the Xbox media briefing at E3 to find out the official name of the game according to the post, so it's a bit of a tease.

What are your guesses? Forza Horizon 3? Forza Motorsport 7? Let us know below
