The first trailer for Jurassic World was such a pleasant surprise that we demand more. Lucky for us, we are getting more. The next trailer for Jurassic World will be premiering during the Super Bowl, which kicks off on February 1st at 6:30pm ET in Glendale, Arizona.
According to ABC News, the new trailer will be running sometime during the Super Bowl, with 30-second spots costing about $4.5 million, up 12.5 percent from last year. Universal Pictures' fourth installment to the franchise is currently the only film listed to be running a Super Bowl ad.
Jurassic World will star Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy) as Owen, who was seen in the first trailer riding on a motorcycle next to (friendly?) Velociraptors, or telling people that creating a hybrid dinosaur is a bad idea. Jurassic World takes place 22 years after the events of the first film. We return to Isla Nublar, with now features a fully-functional dinosaur theme park, just as originally envisioned by John Hammond, called Jurassic World. It has been open for 10 years and visitor rates or on the decline, so a new attraction to spark visitor's interest is created — but it backfires.
Jurassic World releases in theaters on June 12, 2015.
